Objectives The aim of the microfiltration is to replace, on the raw cider, all the traditional clarification operations (centrifugation, diatoms filtration, frontal filtration with plates and polymer membranes).
TAMI's solution

During the separation, the product is fractionated into two phases:

– a filtrate, which is exempt of suspended solids; turbidity < 1 NTU
– a concentrate, which contains the suspended solids; turbidity > 1000 NTU.
